Apple has released tvOS 18.2.1, a minor update for Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models, addressing a data syncing issue across devices. Users can install the update by navigating to Settings > System > Software Updates on their Apple TV.
This update follows the December release of tvOS 18.2, which introduced a Snoopy screen saver for newer Apple TV 4K models and support for ultra-wide 21:9 content with home theater projectors.
Looking ahead, tvOS 18.3 is currently in beta testing and is expected to be released later this month. Additionally, reports suggest that Apple plans to launch a new Apple TV in late 2025, featuring an Apple-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, potentially adding Wi-Fi 6E support.
